Golang Developer (Remote) - JF098

About the role
We're on the lookout for an experienced, driven Go developer who is ready to be part of our exciting start-up journey. As a Golang developer, you will be a key member of the development team who develops and enhances Golang based products. You will work closely with the team to provide optimal solutions, as well as, design and develop production code that is of the highest quality. You will work with other developers equally capable of architecting, designing and delivering high standard performance applications and systems within realistic time and budgetary constraints. You will be responsible for helping guide others on your team through the lifecycle of a product.

Skills and experience

• Strong experience with Golang
• 5+ years’ experience of backend programming
• Experienced with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experienced with multiple GCP services:Cloud functions, Cloud build, Python or NodeJS, GKE (k8s and istio), GCE, Dataflow, Pubsub, Bigquery, Firebase
• Production Experience in building a Service Oriented Architecture
• Experienced with container technology (Kubernetes,
  docker), protobuf and gRPC
• Excellent understanding on protobuf and gRPC concepts, noSql database
  structure best practices and concepts, modern search engine, microservice
  architecture, event driven architecture, data reporting, monitoring and loggin
• Production Experience in building a Event Driven Architecture
• Professional proficiency of English

Nice to have familiarity or experience with:

• Algolia Server-Side Search (knowledge on algolia sort, keyword and filter
  syntaxes)
• On nosql databases e.g Firestore
• Interacting with GCP services e.g. GKE (k8s and istio), GCE, Pubsub,
  GCS, Bigquery, Firebase , Cloud functions, Cloud build, Stackdriver, Dataflow
